A loophole in a wall (orihei ά») that zig zags back and forth like a folding screen (*byoubuori ά). The loopholes (*sama ·Τ) are cut into the wall on the diagonal to match the angle of the wall, and not at the usual ninety degree angle. The outside opening was typically wider than the inside opening, unlike most loopholes which had small outside openings and large inside openings. | ||||||
