A hairstyle where the hair is divided into two bunches, and tied on top of the head. The hairstyle is found on Buddhist images such as *bosatsu •μŽF and *ten “V; most numerous in the Asuka period. A representative example is the Miroku bosatsuzou –νθΣ•μŽF‘œ in Chuuguuji ’†‹{Ž›, Nara. @
