katabiki shouji　片引障子

Also katahiki shouji. A single, horizontally sliding translucent screen *shouji 障子 that moves either to the left or right on a single track, *shikii 敷居 and *kamoi 鴨居. On the exterior there is often a latticed window *renjimado 連子窓 or a vine entwined ditch reed or bamboo latticed window *shitajimado 下地窓. These screens are common to tea ceremony houses *chashitsu 茶室.
