abbreviated kakedomoe 掛巴. The semi-cylindrical eave-end cover tiles,
noki kakedomoe marugawara 軒掛巴丸瓦, with either lotus pattern *rengemon
蓮華文, or comma pattern *tomoemon
巴文, pendants *gatou
瓦当, affixed to the barge course or gable overhang *keraba
螻羽. During the 7c-12c, kakedomoekawara were used on all eave end
tiles. |
