Also kameimado, *oribemado 織部窓, *tokomado 床窓, *bokusekimado 墨蹟窓, kakemonomado 掛物窓. A type of exposed-lath window *shitajimado 下地窓 found in the side wall wakikabe 脇壁 of a decorative alcove *tokonoma 床の間. Adorned with a flower vase hung on a nail called *asagaokugi 朝顔釘, driven into the bamboo window base.　Also fitted with a hanging sliding screen *kakeshouji 掛障子 on the room side.
