Carved on bargeboard pendants *gegyo Œœ‹›, railings *kouran ‚—“, rainbow beams *kouryou “ψ—ΐ, newel posts oyabashira e’Œ or at the lower edge of a large bottle-shaped post *taiheizuka ‘ε•r‘©.

2@A family crest, mondokoro –δŠ, in the shape of a silk-floss bundle tied at the centre. Bundles of this kind were originally used as congratulatory gifts.
