1　 A ceiling with the same pitch as the roof. Really an exposed ceiling *keshou yaneura 化粧屋根裏 with backing boards added. 2　When the ceiling is an inverted boat-shape *funazoko tenjou 舟底天井, the incline of the roof is stronger than that of the boat-shaped ceiling. Example: Sanzen-in 三千院, Kyoto.
