Also tsurido ήΛ or έΛ. A door or window,
that is hinged along the top. It swings out from the bottom, and is held open
by a prop, tsukiagezao ΛγΖ, or pole. One example is a sudomon βΕΛε,
a rustic gate in the garden of a tea ceremony house *chashitsu
Ί. When the door is closed it fits perfectly into the door flame and hand exactly
perpendicular to ground. If a large wooden shutter in a merchant's shop is raised and propped open or held by a hook, tsurikanamono έΰ¨, it is called makuriagedo γΛ. Tsukiagedo may also refer to a trapdoor that opens into an attic. |
