All the basic wooden structural members produced at a building site including the ridge, and the ceremony of raising the ridge, *muneageshiki 棟上式. These members include the ground sills or footings, *dodai 土台, posts or pillars, *hashira 柱, purlins, *keta 桁, transverse beams, *hari 梁, and roof framework, *koyagumi 小屋組.
