Decoration found on the head of a Buddhist sculpted figure. This includes hairstyles *houkei 宝髻 and hanging ornaments like ribbons *kantai 冠帯, but most frequently refers to crowns *houkan 宝冠, such as the sanmen houkan 三面宝冠 (three-sided crown) and sanzan houkan 三山宝冠 (three peaked crown) found on 7c statues.
