All the basic wooden structural members produced at a building site including the ridge, and the ceremony of raising the ridge *muneageshiki 棟上式. These members include the ground sills or footings *dodai 土台, posts or pillars *hashira 柱, purlins *keta 桁, transverse beams *hari 梁, and roof framework *koyagumi 小屋組.
