Also oigata 笈形, *gasshouhire 合掌鰭. A pair of decorative sculpted forms *hire 鰭 found on both sides of a bottle-shaped post *taiheizuka 大瓶束. The oldest extant example in Japan can be seen on the south gate of Futaiji 不退寺 (1317), Nara.
