1　A small reinforcement post attached to the side of a larger post or pillar. If a reinforcement post is attached to a strut *tsuka 束, it is called *soezuka 添束. 2　A small reinforcement post set on the side of an alcove *tokonoma 床の間. See *fukurodoko 袋床.
