The theme of the painting on this wall depicts the descent of the Amida Buddha *Amida ’νΙ who welcomes and carries the soul of the newly deceased to the Western Paradise saihou Όϋ. Example: the raigoukabe behind the Amida statue in the central hall *Chuudou ° of the Byoudouin *Hououdou ½@P°. | ||||||
