nagayamono　長屋物

KEY WORD :　architecture / roofing tiles

The smallest of three standard sizes of roof tiles, yanegawara 屋根瓦, used during the 17-19c. The middle size was called hiromamono 広間物 and the largest size was the yaguramono 櫓物. These terms have continued in used for housing roof tiles.
