ninojikuzushi　二の字崩

A type of decorative pattern used for muntins on transoms *ranma 欄間. The design consists of alternating sets of parallel straight lines, and is based on the character '二' ni. A diagonal version of the same design is called kakubishi ninojikuzushi 角菱二の字崩.
