nijuu nageshi　二重長押

A double-layered non-penetrating tie beam with the upper layer often as thick as the lower one. These are found as base tie beams, jinageshi 地長押, facing onto a veranda *en-nageshi 縁長押 and above doors and windows, uchinori nageshi 内法長押.
