Also *tsumairi 妻入; mukouzuma-zukuri 向妻造; *mukou-zukuri 向造; *kirizuma-zukuri 切妻造. The main entrance to a building which is placed on the gable end of a building instead of the more usual placement on the side parallel to the ridge. Example: Houryuuji *Shouryouin 法隆寺聖霊院 (1284), Nara.
