Also called kuguri 潜り and kirinukimon 切抜き門. 2 In vernacular houses *minka 民家, in Ooita prefecture, a gatehouse nagayamon 長屋門, at the entry to the ground, usually with a stable *umaya 厩, or agriculture tool store. Generally confined to larger farmhouses. |
