katanaka　片中

A common abbreviation for katanakazumi 片中隅. The point that indicates 1/4 of the entire length of a structural member. For example, the lower 1/4 of a corner hip rafter can be referred to as sumigi shitaba-no-katanaka (katanakazumi) 隅木下ばの片中 (片中墨).
