A small subsidiary tower. When a castle complex has two or more donjons, the largest is called *daitenshu 大天守, or princpal tower. The others are called kotenshu. At Himejijou 姫路城 in Hyougo prefecture, for example, there is a daitenshu and three kotenshu. | ||||||
