|  A construction method that uses half brackets on 
top of the corners in the inner worship sanctuary *naijin 
内陣. The corner pillars are in line with the inner pillars *tokyou 
斗きょう. This necessitated raising the height of the latticed ceiling *kumiire 
tenjou 組入天井, over the naijin. Example: Daigoji Yakushidou 醍醐寺薬師堂 
(1121) in Kyoto.  |
