irihassou　入八双

Also sakawa kanamono 逆輪金物, saba-no-o 鯖の尾. An ornamental metal fitting *kazarikanagu 飾金具, usually made of iron, and used on a door. The irihassou is attached horizontally around the pivot side of the door, pinching it in a "U" shape. The ends are indented in a fish-tail shape.
