General drawings which reflect all the contents of a building, its plan and design. Such drawings must depict the function and placement of every structural constituent in order to gain a complete understanding of the projected construction. Included among the drawings are a plot or block plan showing the disposition of the building *haichi-zu 配置図, building floor plan *heimen-zu 平面図, cross section drawings *danmen-zu 断面図, longitudinal cross section drawings, tatedanmen-zu 縦断面図, elevation drawings, ritsumen-zu 立面図, and many drawings showing details, shousai-zu 詳細図.
