      mudra of the Vanquisher of the Three Worlds (SK: trailokyavijaya mudra). 
      A mudra or hand gesture *in 
      印 formed by clenching both hands, crossing them back to back in front of 
      the chest, interlocking the little fingers of both hands, and extending 
      both forefingers. The gesture was characteristic of *Gouzanze 
      Myouou 降三世明王 (Sk: Trailokyavijaya, or Vanquisher of the Three Worlds), 
      and the two principal hands in eight-armed images of Gouzanae Myouou display 
      this mudra, but there are examples of two-armed images in which this mudra 
      was not used.  |
