Also called *ogawara 男瓦 (male tile). 1　A semi-cylindrical tile *marugawara 丸瓦. 2　A tile that combines a roll tile with the same function as an ordinary semi-cylindrical tile and a broad concave tile *hiragawara 平瓦, to form a single pantile *sangawara 桟瓦.
