A base plate on which ogre tiles *onigawara ‹SŠ’ or *shishiguchi Ž‚ŽqŒϋ, are placed. This type of base plate is also found under: the ends of the main ridge *munagi “–Ψ; the ends of the descending ridge *sumikudarimune ‹χ~“, the offspring ridge *chigomune ’tŽ™“; or a short artificial ridge *tsumakudarimune Θ~“, which extends from a base board at the base of a gable. The base plate may also@be placed at the crown of an undulating gable *karahafu “‚”j•—.
