enbu dangon　閻浮檀金

An imaginary type of gold which, according to Buddhist scriptures, was the most precious of metals. It was said to be found in the bed of the river flowing through the great forest of enbu 閻浮 trees. Gold plated statues were occasionally known as enbu dangon, but the name was used figuratively, as a reverential or poetic title.
