A base plate on which ogre tiles *onigawara S’ or *shishiguchi qϋ, are placed. This type of base plate is also found under: the ends of the main ridge *munagi Ψ; the ends of the descending ridge *sumikudarimune χ~, the offspring ridge *chigomune t; or a short artificial ridge *tsumakudarimune Θ~, which extends from a base board at the base of a gable. The base plate may also@be placed at the crown of an undulating gable *karahafu j.
