chuushinseki　中心石

Lit. center stone(s). A single stone or stone arrangement *ishigumi 石組, placed in the middle of a *tsurujima 鶴島, *kamejima 亀島, *tsukiyama 築山 and *taki-ishigumi 滝石組. The chuushinseki typically form the visual focus of the garden elements in which they are placed.
