The Atsumi International Foundation 30th Anniversary Party was held on November 10, 2024 (Sunday), at a restaurant in Beijing with around 50 participants.

The Party began with an acknowledgement speech from Professor Song Zhiyong of Nankai University who has long supported the activities of SGRA, which was followed with a greetings from Jin Xi, a first batch fellow from 1995. The 19th SGRA China Forum was held at the School of Japanese and International Studies, Beijing Foreign Studies University before the Party. Scholars from the Tsinghua East Asia Culture Course, which has long co-hosted the China Forum, the School of Japanese and International Studies, and those who participated in the forum also joined the Party. Over 20 Chinese raccoons, from Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Macao, Jinan, Hohhot, Xi'an, and Urumqi also joined.

During the Party, the raccoons and other participants gave a short update on their lives, and we had fun discussing the memories of when they were our fellows and the activities of SGRA up till now. We enjoyed great food full of rather uncommon menu and had a great conversation, filling the gathering with a warm atmosphere.
