Also written άΛ. Lit. broken branch door. A type of wicket *kido ΨΛ used at the entrance to the inner tea garden *uchiroji ΰIn. It is a simple hinged door made of bent and split green bamboo woven into a diamond shape and tied with bracken rope. The door is suspended between two log posts, and usually hung about 15cm above the ground. The shiorido closely resembles the sunokodo βΕqΛ. It is also confused with the raised lattice door *agesudo gβΕΛ; the terms are used interchangeably by Akisato Ritou H’βί in TSUKIYAMA TEIZOUDEN zRλ’`. | ||||||
