Sagano　嵯峨野

A pictorial subject of an area in the western part of Kyoto city, famous for autumn grasses and singing insects. Besides being associated with the autumn, the subject is often related to the lady *Kogou 小督, the tragic heroine in HEIKE MONOGATARI 平家物語 (The Tale of The Heike).
