1　Also written 萌黄色, 萌木色. A strong yellow-green colour. A dye of this colour was made by mixing yellow miscanthus *kariyasu 苅安 or philodendron *kihada 黄檗 with indigo *ai 藍. 2　The name given to a garment with outer fabric and lining of a bright yellow-green colour, or outer fabric coloured mid-blue and lining pale blue.
