1　A flat, rectangular roof tile with a small, semi-cylindrical tile attached. This combined tile is placed under the rain-repellent flat tiles, amanoshi 雨熨斗 located directly below the coping tiles *fusumagawara 伏間瓦. The broad flat part may be embellished with a an arabesque design *karakusamon 唐草文, or remain plain. 2　Tiles used for roofing the top of a mud, mud and tile, or ordinary timber fence.
