The Kyoto branch of the Kanou school *Kanouha 狩野派, founded by Kanou Sanraku 狩野山楽 (1559-1635), who continued to work in Kyoto after Kanou Tan'yuu 狩野探幽 (1602-74) and his disciples moved to Edo to serve the shogunate. The Kyouganou lineage was as follows: Sanraku -- Sansetsu 山雪 (1589/90-1651) -- Einou 永納 (1634-1700) -- Eikei 永敬 (1662-1702) -- Eihaku 永伯 (1687-1764) -- Eiryou 永良 (1741-71) -- Eijou 永常 (1731-87) --Eishun 永俊 (1769-1816) -- Eigaku 永岳 (1790-1867). | ||||||
