| A one-stepped bracket complex parallel to but separated from the wall by the extension of a rainbow beam *kouryou 虹梁 that fits into a large bearing block *daito 大斗 atop a pillar *hashira 柱 and continues outward in the shape of a bracket arm. A smaller bearing block *masu 斗 is secured on its outer end. A bracket arm *hijiki 肘木 carrying three bearing blocks is arranged on it to receive an eave purlin *dashigeta 出桁. | ||||||
