Lit. scattered hail stones. A method of paving *tama-ishijiki ΚΞ~, in which various sizes of round stones *tama-ishi ΚΞ, are inbedded in the ground and joined together using different types of joints. It is favored in garden paths of *souan Α style gardens and in *roji In or tea gardens. There are four different types of ararekoboshi paving: ookobore ελκ, kokobore ¬λκ, *ashiwake ―ͺ―, and chidoriashi ηΉ«. | ||||||
