shintai　神体

Lit. Body of the *kami 神; a sacred object which is worshiped as a symbol of the divine Shinto spirit. Shintai may be are mirrors *mishoutai 御正体, swords, jewels *shinpou 神宝, or images of Shinto deities, kami, in painting and sculpture *shinzou 神像.
